What Students Say About Student Life
Meet the Purdue Global Manager of Student Life
Jessi Eaton is the manager of student life at Purdue Global, where she leads the administration and development of engagement programs for a campus of 35,000 virtual adult learners. Jessi is also the student government advisor and serves on Purdue Global’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee. She has more than 20 years of higher education experience, focused on student engagement and leadership development, and holds an MSEd from Capella University in Leadership for Higher Education.
Jessi’s career began at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she first served in auxiliary services and the School of Fine Arts. She spent more than 10 years in the student center, first as the student newspaper organization advisor, then as the communications coordinator, and finally as the assistant director.
Jessi is an active volunteer at the regional and international levels of the Association of College Unions International (ACUI), including work on volunteer development, award naming, and regional development. Her professional interests include cross-generational communication and management and the history of the student union field.
She lives in northern Minnesota and enjoys volunteering and spending time with her family.
